Bill Billionaires = Paradise on Earth

It is absolutely no secret that the poverty in the world comes from a combination of the policy of underdevelopment enacted by the colonial powers, and the policy of legalized slavery and resource theft by the neocolonial corporations.

As of 2023 (according to Wikipedia), the ten wealthiest individuals are

1. Bernard Arnault: $211 billion

2. Elon Musk: $180 billion

3. Jeff Bezos: $114 billion

4. Larry Ellison: $107 billion

5. Warren Buffett: $106 billion

6. Bill Gates: $104 billion

7. Michael Bloomberg: $95 billion

8. Carlos Slim: $93 billion

9. Mukesh Ambani: $83 billion

10. Steve Ballmer: $81 billion

Total: $1.174 trillion

Suppose (just suppose), their fortunes were each reduced by 50%. This would imply that half of $1.2 trillion (i.e. $600 billion) would be freed up. Imagine that $600 billion was then put into the least developed countries. The bottom ten are all in sub-Saharan Africa. An injection of $12 billion a year into the African economy from this fund would mean that it would last for fifty years, and by the end of that period, Africa would be developed and we would see the knock-on effects of resource redistribution throughout the world.

And these billionaires would STILL be amongst the richest people in the world. What is their problem?

The Rule of Four [1602, 24] is what I thought of. The four articles without pictures. Interesting sandwich. :)

But really...

And this...

Before interruption.

And this... in between...:

And then:

No first:

And then:

[Right, this one. Not Day 13]
